Dr.
Mendelson is engaged in private practice in obstetrics and gynecology
in Katy/West Houston, Texas. Dr. Mendelson was born in Toronto,
Canada, and was educated at the University of Toronto where
he received his undergraduate and medical degrees. He served
his internship at University of Toronto Mt. Sinai Hospital,
and his residencies at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania and Mt. Sinai Hospital as a Senior Resident in
general surgery and Chief Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the Royal College
of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and is a Fellow of the American
College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Mendelson completed
his postgraduate microsurgical training at the Louisiana State
University School of Medicine in New Orleans and the infertility
laser workshop at Woman's Hospital of Texas through Baylor College
of Medicine.
Dr. Mendelson is former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics-Gynecology
at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. He is a member of the Harris
County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association, American
Fertility Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists,
and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Mendelson has written
numerous articles. He has practiced medicine at York Finch
General Hospital (Toronto), Sam Houston Memorial Hospital
and Spring Branch Memorial Hospital (Houston, Texas) and Memorial
Hermann Katy Medical Center (Katy, Texas.)
